15 years from now. Where will i be? What will my life be like? Hopefully. if my life goes how i hope. i will be a sucessful lawyer. maybe have started a family. definitely have found someone to spend the rest of my life with. living probably in a small city depending on what i come to to enjoy. i will definitely have a dog, maybe two. hopefully a husky, a smaller dog as well. if i have kids i want two. 15 years from now, perhaps the first of two. but as we all know the future is hared to predict. this is how i hope for my life to be 15 years from now. will it be? Who knows?

Technology
Technology's has had a huge impact on the world. It has engulfed the lives of everyone. only 45 years ago the first computer was created, the only one. as big as a small room. there are now millions. most of which can fit inside someone's pocket. this is how most americans communicate now. whether it be through cell phone calls or texts. facebook, myspace or twitter, or any other social networking sites.
for me technology has changed the way i connect with people. changed how i talk to people. and sometimes even changed the way i spell things. i enjoy this technology though. for me it is easier for me to talk with someone on facebook then to talk with them in person. people that i'd never really talked with before, i can talk with of facebook. this in turn makes it easier to talkk with them in real life makes it easier to establish a friendship. not that i cant talk with people face to face. its just easier. its simpler to type something in and hit enter, then to walk up to someone and start a conversation. however, after that initial friendship is established. id much rather talk in person with someone, or hang out with them.

a junior in school, i am preparing myself for my last year of high school. SAT's, challenging classes, and now, for the last time of my high school career, i will choose my curriculum for the following year, senior year. these are all exciting for me, but all very stressful at the same time.
to help me escape from all of this, i love to listen to music. i spend hours a day searching for new music, listening to my old music, and appreciating all of the music i find. i really enjoy older music, mainly from the late 60's to the early 90's.
i always try to be myself, i dont make myself conform to the social behaviors of others, especially if i see them as wrong. two quotes that i have to really come to live by are "i'd rather be hated for who i am then loved for who im not" and "wanting to be is a waste of the person you are." both are by the late Kurt Cobain, my favorite musician, the lead singer and guitar player of the band Nirvana. that music itself is one of the ways that i express how im different, most of my friends dont understand why i like the band, but i refuse to conform and not listen to the music i love because of the accepted music of the day. Yet thats not really a big deal, because i love all music, and most of the music that my friends like, i like as well.
My name is Chris, im a junior in high school, welcome to my castle.
Discussion: What do you do for you, that other people may not understand.
